Regista e produttrice pluripremiata, dopo una lunga attività televisiva, realizza Solo (2008), co-diretto con David Michod. Fondato lo studio Stranger than Fiction Films, dirige Miracle on Everest, Living the End (2011) seguito da Sherpa (2015), sull’impresa nel 1953 di Tenzing Norgay e Edmund Hillary, e Mountain (2017).
