biography
She is a director, a producer and a screenwriter, spending her time between documentaries and fiction films. In 2013 she made Blackfish, screened at the 13th CinemAmbiente, which follows the story of an orca segregated in captivity at SeaWorld Marine Park. With 2017's Megan Leavey, starring Kate Mara, she told the true story of the relationship between a marine and a fighting dog. After this, she directed the drama Our Friend (2019) starring Dakota Johnson, Jason Segel, and Casey Affleck.
