Dal 1998 si occupa di conflitti e diritti umani collaborando con Amnesty International e altre organizzazioni internazionali. Regista, produttore e docente di cinema, nel 2015 presenta il suo Tell Spring not to Come This Year (2015) in anteprima alla Berlinale, dove vince l’Amnesty International Award e l’Audience Choice Panorama Award. Segue They Live in Forests, They Are Extremely Shy (2016).
