He is a film director, producer, and instructor. Since 1998 he has focused on conflicts and human rights in collaboration with Amnesty International and other international organizations. His Tell Spring not to Come This Year (2015) debuted at the Berlinale, where it won the Amnesty Human Rights Award and thePanorama Audience Award, followed by They Live in Forests, They are Extremely Shy (2016).
