Si è laureato in economia e ha lavorato in una multinazionale, prima di dedicarsi alla fotografia. Ha frequentato il Pratt Institute di New York e dal 2007 ha viaggiato in Iraq, Iran, Armenia, Turchia e Groenlandia realizzando documentari e reportage fotogiornalistici.
