biography
Nato nel 1964 in Belgio, è arrivato a calcare le scene di Broadway a soli 14 anni. In radio e televisione ha conquistato la notorietà come presentatore di programmi culturali e di viaggio conducendo nel 1987 Ideefix, il primo quiz televisivo ecologista in Europa. Giornalista e scrittore, con il suo primo lungometraggio Ben X (2007), vincitore di numerosi riconoscimenti internazionali, con il romanzo Niets was alles wat hij zei (Nothing Was All He Said) e il suo adattamento teatrale, ha ottenuto un vasto consenso.
