biography
Born in 1964 in Belgium, he first appeared on Broadway at the age of 14. He achieved fame on radio and television as a presenter of cultural and travel programs, hosting Ideefix, the first environmental television quiz show in Europe, in 1987. A journalist and writer, he achieved widespread acclaim with his first feature film, Ben X (2007), which won numerous international awards, and with his novel Niets was alles wat hij zei (Nothing Was All He Said), and its stage adaptation.
