Attrice, regista, produttrice, attivista di origine Métis/Algonquin. Il suo corto Choke (2010) ottiene la menzione d'onore al Sundance Film Festival e nel 2013 gira Alias, suo primo lungometraggio. Rise è stato presentato in anteprima mondiale al Sundance Film Festival 2017.
