She is a filmmaker, programmer, showrunner, actor, and activist Métis/Algonquin. Her short Choke (2010) received the Sundance Special Jury Honorable Mention. Alias (2013) was her first feature documentary. Rise was premiered worldwide at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival.
