Si laurea all’Accademia di Belle arti di Madrid. Nel 2004 dirige i suoi primi cortometraggi documentari, Volved e Somos nueve. Segue Oggi no ma domani sì (2006), prima di esordire nel lungometraggio con El lugar de las fresas (2013).
