Fumettista e illustratore, esordisce negli anni Settanta conquistando l’interesse del pubblico e della critica. Tra i suoi lavori più famosi, Il Signor Spartaco, Doctor Nefasto, Fuochi, L’uomo alla finestra, Stigmate, Jekyll & Hyde, Ghirlanda. I suoi libri sono tradotti in tutto il mondo e i suoi disegni appaiono su “The New Yorker”, “Le Monde”, “Corriere della Sera” e “La Repubblica”. Nel 2007 partecipa al film d’animazione collettivo Peur(s) du Noir e nel 2012 porta a termine gli sfondi e i personaggi del film Pinocchio di Enzo D’Alò.
