biography
A cartoonist and illustrator, he debuted in the 1970s, garnering the interest of both the public and critics. His most famous works include Il Signor Spartaco, Doctor Nefasto, Fuochi, L’uomo alla finestra, Stigmate, Jekyll & Hyde, Ghirlanda. His books have been translated worldwide, and his drawings appear in The New Yorker, Le Monde, Corriere della Sera, and La Repubblica. In 2007, he participated in the collective animated film Peur(s) du Noir, and in 2012, he completed the backgrounds and characters for Enzo D’Alò’s film Pinocchio.
