È nato a Vichy nel 1942. Appassionato di cavalli, dal 1989 ha realizzato alcuni documentari su questo animale. Tra questi: L'homme à cheval (auteur) sur l'histoire de l'Équitation (1998), L'Éducation du jeune cheval (1996) e 4 documentari per Le Magazine du Cheval (1995-1999) tutti per France Ouest.
