Si è laureato in giornalismo e ha svolto l'attività di critico cinematografico. Dal 1997 ha realizzato numerosi cortometraggi con cui ha partecipato a molti festival internazionali, come quelli di Karlovy-Vary, Rotterdam, Clermont-Ferrand e Cannes.
