Il suo In the Light of Darkness: A Photographer’s Journey After 9/11 è selezionato tra i migliori libri fotografici del 2011. Nel 2013 è premiata dalla Michigan University per l’indagine sul bracconaggio in Africa, da cui nasce The Last Animals, selezionato al Tribeca FF 2017.
