biography
Nel 1961 inizia a collaborare con Bruno Bozzetto come animatore, art director e sceneggiatore. Insieme firmano West & Soda, Vip - Mio fratello superuomo, Allegro non troppo, la serie Il Signor Rossi, e dirigono Opera (1973). Realizza pubblicità e serie animate televisive in Italia e all’estero. Tra i più celebri film della sua lunga carriera ricordiamo Incubus (1985), Volere volare (1991), in tecnica mista e in co-regia con Maurizio Nichetti, L’eroe dei due mondi (1994) e Aida degli alberi (2001).
