biography
In 1961 he began collaborating with Bruno Bozzetto as an animator, art director, and screenwriter. Together they made West & Soda, Vip - Mio fratello superuomo, Allegro non troppo, the TV show Il Signor Rossi and Opera (1973). He made commercials and animated television series in Italy and abroad. Some of the most celebrated films of his long career: Incubus (1985), Volere volare (1991), in mixed media and co-directed with Maurizio Nichetti, L'eroe dei due mondi (1994), and Aida degli alberi (2001)
