È nata nel 1973 a Esslingen, in Germania. Dal 1999 al 2004 ha studiato cinema documentario alla Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. Tra i suoi lavori Ekdysis (1999), Ein Tag (2000) e Hier liegen sie alle (2003). Nacht è il suo film di diploma.
