Winzentsen
biography
È nato nel 1939 ad Amburgo. Dal 1959 al 1964 studia grafica e fotografia a Malerei. Diventa filmmaker sperimentando il cinema di animazione, e stringendo presto una collaborazione con Ursula Asher-Winzetsen. Dal 1970 al 1983 è impegnato in lavorazioni teatrali, come burattinaio e realizzatore di maschere. Dal 1987 è professore di film d'animazione alla Hochschule di Amburgo. Tra le sue opere, Staub (1967), vincitore del premio della giuria al Festival Internazionale di Film di Animazione di Annecy nello stesso anno; Flamingo (1984), Die Königin des Schwarzen Marktes (1988), Der Fotograf (1988) e Der Untergang des Goldenen Webstuhls (1992), lungometraggi animati; Der Porzellanladen (1995), Der Besenbinder, Der Fotograf und Der Koch (1998).
