Laureato presso la Scuola di Cinema di Milano, ha lavorato come assistente alla regia in numerosi film, dirigendo anche videoclip musicali. Dal 2001 è regista per diverse NGO in paesi quali Cuba, Bosnia, Brasile, Senegal e Cina.
