Durante gli studi alla Facoltà di Scienze Politiche si specializza in Culture e Diritti umani iniziando a lavorare nel settore video. Nel 2009 fonda la SMK Videofactory ed esordisce con il lungometraggio La Resistenza nascosta. Seguono tra gli altri Una follia effimera (2012), Vite al centro (2014) e Green Lies (2014).
