Si forma come fotografo presso l’International Center of Photography di New York e la Gerrit Rietveld Academy di Amsterdam. Autore di diverse pubblicazioni, dal 2003 si dedica anche al cinema come direttore della fotografia di numerosi documentari. In veste di regista nel 2017 realizza En Österrikisk Gris e Hur hamnade jag här? per la televisione svedese.
