Fotografo e filmmaker dal 1985, all’inizio del 2018 fonda Produzioni Alberto Valtellina. Tra i suoi film ricordiamo anche In balia di voi stessi (2013), La nave di Nico (2018), Parvathy Baul. Senza radici (2019) e Il condominio inclinato (2020) co-diretto con Paolo Vitali.
