Zima

Directed by

A journey through Northern Russia and Siberia, spanning the entire winter season, with temperatures dropping to 40 degrees below zero. Through the words and stories of those forced to live in one of the coldest and harshest climates in the world, we discover how it is possible to survive in an environment where the very boundary between life and death is almost intangible, and where one cannot escape the timeless rites and laws of nature.
