Shipbreakers

Directed by

It is a shocking portrait of the 'cemetery' of ships at Alang, in India. Following the everyday life of the workers and their bosses, Shipbreakers shows how they dismantle a ship of 30,000 tons in two months, working from dawn till dusk. The film also tells about the struggle for survival, geopolitics and environmental disasters on the Indian coasts.
