Mattia va al mare

Directed by

Mattia is convinced that by drawing a red line around objects like bottles, books, clothes, food, and photographs, he can take possession of them, and they will be his forever. He wanders around the house, compulsively marking everything with his pencil. Once outside, he continues his work with the animals and insects he encounters in nature, before reaching the beach and finally surrendering to the immensity of the sea and its fluctuating, indefinite lines.
