La Terre

Directed by

A visual and musical reflection of nature’s rhythms, starting from time loop sequences of the sea taken during the course of a day in Finistère, Brittany, and marked by the rhythm of the tide. The beach fills with umbrellas, people, and animals as the tide flows out, leaving vegetal remains and man-made objects. Towards evening, the sea returns, completing nature’s daily cycle, and night begins to fall to the steady rhythm of the surf beating the shore.

Pure from its source, uncontaminated and bottled in plastic, this essential element is both wasted and sought after like a treasure, too much or too little in a changing world.
