Ciao cumè l’acqua del Lamber

Directed by

The story of a river, the Lambro, whose course winds for over 130 km through the most densely populated areas of Lombardy, provided an essential economic and recreational resource heavily exploited since the mid-1900s until 23 February 2010 when tons of hydrocarbons spilled into the river at Villasanta, in the province of Monza. The river managed to survive the spill, as did life along its banks: charming settings, traditions, and the people who dedicate time and interest in their river.

Pure from its source, uncontaminated and bottled in plastic, this essential element is both wasted and sought after like a treasure, too much or too little in a changing world.
