A Bicycle Trip

Basel, April 19, 1943. While cycling home after a day's work in the laboratory, chemist Albert Hoffmann suddenly and unwillingly finds himself exposed to the powerful hallucinogenic effects of LSD. He thus experiences the first of many psychedelic experiences that will follow in his long life, a precursor to the trips that, thanks to him, will define a period a few decades later, shaping an era and an entire generation.
