A man works at a missile base. It is his son's birthday. In the lonely silence of his drab office he is wrapping his son's birthday present – a red toy airplane. Another day at work is nearly over and it's time to go home and celebrate with his wife and son. Suddenly the phone rings; not the office phone but the red one for secret communications. Orders have been given; the missile is ready...
«This is the story of a paradoxical situation in which a typical father wishes peace and happiness for his family, but works at a place where weapons of mass destruction exist. We also live in a complex society where happiness and anxiety are interwoven. The story is developed using missiles as the motif, but I believe that we can see this type of contradiction exists to a large degree in our own lives. I have attempted to use this work as a metaphor to express this kind of situation».
