She has been working for more than two decades in the field of art. Through films, photographs, installations, theatrical performances, public rituals and collective gatherings, she investigates themes such as national identity, trauma and removal. Her works are presented all over the world, from the Museum of Modern Art in New York to the Tate Modern in London and the Centre Pompidou in Paris.
