biography
Journalist, author and director, she collaborates with organisations and newspapers such as Arte, RAI, Al Jazeera, ‘Libération’, RSI, ‘Internazionale’, ‘LifeGate’. In 2018 she won the Golden Dove for Peace with Donne fuori dal buio, in 2019 the True Story Award and in 2021 the Albert of Monaco Prize for Iraq without Water. Author of the book Racconti di schiavitù e lotta nelle campagne, she co-directs the documentaries Iraq: Youth on the Front Line (2019) and Iraq: Fight or Flight (2021). With Arianna Pagani, coauthor of La terra mi tiene, she is one of the founders of the FADA collective.
