biography
He has worked as an assistant director with Mario Monicelli, Daniele Luchetti, Florestano Vancini, Nanni Moretti. He has also worked on commercial spots and won several prizes including the Bronze Lion at Cannes. After two features, Auguri professore (Good Luck, Teacher) and La guerra degli Antò (The Antos' War), he has made Il solito noto: ritratto di Mario Monicelli (A Portrait of Mario Monicelli), produced by the National School of Cinema, the short L'extraterrestre (The Alien), for the environmentalist organization Legambiente and TELE +, and Una disperata vitalità (A Desperate Vitality), for the 25th anniversary of Pasolini's death. He has also directed the tv fiction Il sequestro Soffiantini (Soffiantini's Kidnapping), screened in January 2002.
