biography

He was born in 1962 in Belgium and speaks several languages. He worked in Ecuador as an urban anthropologist, where he produced the film El camino del tiempo (1993). In 1993 he went to Mongolia to produce a series of television reports and made the documentary City of the Steppes, winner of the Prix Joris Ivens del Cinema du Reel 1994 in Paris, Prix Maeterlinch 1994 by Scam and the Grand Prix at the Graz Biennale 1995. This film was broadcast in twelve countries. In 1993 he founded Inti Films, an independent production company for creative documentaries.
