biography

He is a film director and director of photography; he has traveled throughout Europe, Africa, and Oceania spurred by his interest in nature and anthropology. His documentaries have been shown at numerous film festivals and on TV. Titles to his credit include Remembering Papua New Guinea (2018), L’oro bianco di Cervia, and I guardiani della Camargue (2019). His most recent film Blood Scales (2021) deals with the illegal trade in pangolins.
