biography
Born in Neviges, he studied theater, film, and television in Cologne. In 1981, he made his debut with the documentary Ich hatte schon begonnen, die Freiheit zu vergessen. From 1982 to 1996, he worked as a sound mixer on productions for both small and large screens, and since 1996, he has written, directed, and produced his own films.
