biography

Born in New Haven (Connecticut) in 1916, he starts working for the film industry as an extra in 1942. After directing his first film With these Hands in 1950, he specializes in second-rate horror films such as the famous Creature from the Black Lagoon and the less known It Came from Outer Space, The Glass Web and The Space Children. Since the early 1960s he has mainly worked for television directing numerous series including Wonder Woman and Love Boat.
