biography
She has appeared in numerous box office hits, including David Lynch's Blue Velvet (1986), Nikita Mikhlakov's Oci ciornie (1987) and David Lynch's Wild at Heart (1990), in addition to TV productions. Her first screenplay was for Guy Maddin's My Dad Is 100 Years Old (2005), about her father, Roberto Rossellini. As a model she has appeared in "Vogue", "Elle" and "Vanity Fair", and posed for photographers Richard Avedon and Bruce Weber.
