With 40 documentaries under her belt, she is a director focused on anthropological and social issues, particularly the condition of women, the development of developing countries, and environmental protection. Her works include Mothers of Water (1988), The King Does Not Lie (1992), in collaboration with anthropologist Judith Gleason, and the television series Economia e ambiente: una sfida per le donne senegalesi. Founder of the production company Ethnos Film, she has collaborated with non-governmental organizations and RAI, producing reportages for Geo - Viaggio nel pianeta.
