He earned a degree in sociology from the Paul Valery University, Montpellier, before specializing in cinema and television at the EICTV, San Antonio de Los Baños, Cuba. He is a member of the Association Ecran Mobile, Ginevra. His directorial debut was the short Carbón (2020).
