He graduated from the Manhattan School of Visual Arts. With Chris Wedge he co-directed Ice Age (2002) and Robots (2005), followed by Ice Age 2: The Meltdown (2006), Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs (2009) and Rio (2011).
