biography
She is a former dancer; she finished her studies in political science, law, and journalism at Columbia University, New York. Since 1997 she has made documentaries and transmedial projects on social change and technology for VPRO Backlight. She is curator of Manifesta 12, the Palermo art biennial. Titles to her credit include Saudi Solutions (2006), winner of Media Woman of the Year Award, and DNA Dreams (2012).
