Asinnajaq (Isabella-Rose Weetaluktuk)
biography
She is an Inuk visual artist, filmmaker, and writer. She studied cinema at NSCAD University in Halifax. Her short film Upinnaqusittik (Lucky, 2016) premiered at iNuit Blanche in St. John’s. Three Thousand was nominated for Best Short Documentary at the 2018 Canadian Screen Awards.
