biography
Alessandro Azzarito, film editor and director, studied at DAMS and Ipotesi Cinema, the school founded by Ermanno Olmi. His debut short Myriam (1994) dealt with young people in a therapeutic community in Agliano Terme. In 1999 he travelled to Patagonia in Argentina to make Rayito de Sol about missionaries sent by the Diocese of Casale Monferrato to the province of Neuquen. He conducts courses in audiovisival filmmaking for students in Monferrato.
