He was born in 1973 in Yazd, Iran. He graduated in 1999 in photography and in cinema. Since 1989 he has been directing several documentaries: Jush-e-Doreh (1989), Slanghtering of camels (1994), Desert (1998), Towards clean water (2001), Pearl's dream (2001).
