He is an independent film producer and director; he was producer for the Emmy-wining PBS documentary series Articulate (2014-19). After collaborating with the National Science Foundation, he studied film direction at the University of California. Titles to his directorial credit include Bat Boy, The Beautiful Colors of Jeremy Sicile-Kira (2020), and In the Garden of Tulips (2023), all of which have been shown at international film festivals.
