Con H-2 Worker riceve due importanti riconoscimenti al Sundance Film Festival (miglior documentario e fotografia), e viene selezionata per la Semaine de la critique al Festival di Cannes. La sua attività prosegue per oltre dieci anni in qualità di regista e produttrice di documentari per il Children's Television Workshop for Sesame Street, e di video musicali per Ziggy Marley and the Melody Makers, Buju Banton, Lauren Hill. Dopo essere stata professoressa associata alla Documentary Film della School of Visual Arts, è insegnante al documentary workshop del Y/FVA di New York.
