Fotografo e artista contemporaneo, esordisce nel cinema con il cortometraggio Mermaids (1998), seguito da Hazing (2002), racconto dei brutali riti di iniziazione diffusi nelle scuole superiori svedesi, rapidamente ridottisi dopo la proiezione del film in Tv. Nel 2019 realizza By the Power Plant.
