Ha esordito come regista nel 2004 con il cortometraggio Larmes de Bois, seguito da altri sei lavori, tutti incentrati sull’ambiente. Alma è il secondo capitolo di una trilogia dedicata alla distruzione della foresta pluviale inaugurata, nel 2009, da Green.
