Ha lavorato come cameraman per la TV dal 1981 al 1991 per poi diventare produttore e regista di documentari a fianco di Jöelle Chesselet. Le sue opere più riconosciute e premiate sono: Lifelines of Western Namibia (girato con il Desert Research Foundation nel 1995) e This crazy thing called Grace (1997).
